It's a very good concept about Dursban. Asia use this Dursban chemical mostly in there plants. This Chlorpyrifos is very harmful. I hope this post will make the people more careful. Thanks for this concept.

Statements such this

"Decom pos ing chlo rine com pounds turn into “Tri halomethanes”. These are the “digested” by prod ucts of organo-chlorine prod ucts such as the “antibac te r ial” soap active ingre di ent “Tri closan”.

are poor chemistry. I agree that THM's are harmful, but get the science right!

Thank You, I altered my article in an effort to better explain the chemistry.

I try very hard to convey the fact that although we consider Sucralose a sugar substitute, it is truly similar in its connections to class one pesticides including triclosan. Both of these products are used daily in businesses and homes around the world with the idea that they do not have a great impact on our environment.

I am humbled by the sheer vast odds of the different compounds capable of being created in the natural environ. Water and Soil do more than build plants, fungi and bacterium, they are also responsible for creating the environ for new compounds and exotica, which potentially are death to this planet. When we create new compounds or hybrid organisms we also open a stronger competition of life. That is not always a "good" thing.

I try not to overwhelm people with too much "direct" chemistry, simply because the "educational" establishment has done such a good job of slamming any fruitful communication on the Sciences. Most people are taught by the age of 12 that math and science are just for the "Nerds" unfortunately our world suffers for this. For myself, leaving the "stoned building of education" living free from the brain washing, and then approaching "college" with a tougher "school of hard knocks" attitude taught me that Love of Math and Love of Science yes even Chemistry is OK, not a perversion, but a Genuine relationship that lasts a lifetime. Sincerely Thank You.

Comment on Cedar Oil Diluted to 4% Works in the Management of Chalkbrood Disease by admin

There are two ways to approach it. One is to clean the Hives with Cedar oil based products such as Dr. Ben's 85% CEDAR OIL in ethyl lactate.

The best way to eliminate problems is to change out hives into a clean one that has been treated with Petriwood. It will permanently seal the hive, eliminate any pest and mold problems. It has been thought that it could also repel Africanized bees since they are pheromone sensitive and find cedar oil irritating and refuse to nest in it.

Wild domesticated bees have been found in high aromatic trees, cypress, Eastern red cedar, and Texas wood since they do perform similar pest control tasks on different levels.

I have a chalk brood problem in some of my hives and have heard that Cedar oil will knock it out entirely.
Can you advise if this is correct and how do I go about application?
Thanks
Jim.

The information that these bacteria are eating pest control products is an important point to be noted and must be avoided as it affects the soil nutrients.
