Extracts of J. polycapos were found to be as nematicidal and nemacidal activity increase as concentrations of extract increased. The nemacidal results were compared with the onventional nemacide, fenamiphos against the Meloidogyne javanica (true B_ Chit, in vitr) nematode.
Although, fenamiphos had greater ability to kill nematodes J. polycapos had a better ability to prevent eggs from hatching. J polycapos may have only reduced numbers of adults but killed more of the next generation of nematode.

Juniperus Sabine leaf oils were subjected to screening against P-388 murine leukemia, A-549 human lung carcinoma, and HT-29 colon carcinoma, while the antiviral assays were performed on herpes simplex virus type 1 infecting fibroblasts of monkey kidney (HSV-1/CV-1. Juniperus Sabine oils were found active in both types of assays at low concentrations.
